What Does a believers character Article 9 1-23-16
Reverence to God
“I will sing to the Lord as long as I live, I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Let my meditation be pleasing to Him, I shall be glade i the Lord”. Psalm 104:33-34
“You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him ad cling to Him, and you shall swear by His name. He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen”. Dueteronomy 10:21:-22
“so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory ad praise of God.” Philipians 1:10-11
What if someone loved you that placed no boundaries on His love. What if He overlooked all of your shortcomings. What if He was willing to love you as you are, with all the bumps and bruises of life. What if He was willing to love you as you are unconditionally, even with less than a stellar reputation. What if He says to you come, I want you just as you are, come, my love knows no bounds, or restrictions. How can a human understand such a love. God said, I have loved you with an everlasting love. What if, He would never lie to you. You see, God cannot lie because it is against His nature. “God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should repent, has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
See the word love below with a scripture verse.
Galatians 5:19-26
The deeds of the flesh 5:19-21
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are immorality, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
The fruit of the Spirit 5:22-26
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there are no law.
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
What are deeds of the flesh. To me flesh could have a dual meaning, human nature, good or bad, and flesh, worldly, in the sense of what has been going on since the 1960’s. The sexual revolution, the decency laws are largely ignored, rape, sex trafficking of young boys and girls of ages 12 and up, pornography, the increase of satanic rituals, evil does exist, in this world and is getting worse. There are may voices being heard in this day and age, that degrade or deaden man’s senses. The number of voices are only increasing not decreasing. These voices by their actions and deeds are breaking down all societal norms and have been replaced by individual values. Individual values have become the “me,me” of today. The base part of man’s flesh steals or murders, they do not want to work to get anything, they want to steal it from you. They have no remorse, for what they have done. This is a person with no conscience. When human conscience is gone, human feelings of life and breath of another person has no value. That leaves you with the thought that there will be no consequences. No one can say they are wrong because, if you stand up and say they are wrong, you are labeled with some type of phobia. This is in the bible as total depravity. People can murder other people, and sometimes only have to spend a year or so in jail. The state collects millions of dollars in taxes, be responsible for drug treatment just as it does with gambling and alcohol. The states are becoming purveyors of depravity. The states are supposed to do what is best for their citizens, not do anything that would put any person in a place of being dependent on some kind of vise. There should only be one voice that should be listened to, Jesus Christ. Jesus said in the later days that “for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revillers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied, its power; ad avoid such as these.” 1 Timothy 3:2-5

The following, is what God’s word says about the 9 words of the Fruit of the Spirit
Love: is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, love does not brag, love is not arrogant, love does not act unbecomingly, love seeks not its own, love is not provoked, love does not keep account of wrongs suffered, love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, love bears all things, love believes all things, love hopes all things. I Corinthians 13:4-7.
Joy: Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2

Goodness: my goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer, my shield, and He in whom I trust, who subdues my people under me. Psalm 144:2
Faithfulness: And the heavens will praise thy wonders, O Lord; they faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy one. Psalm 89:5
Gentleness: But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. I Timothy 6:11
Self-Control: and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness; II Peter 1:6
What does a believers life supposed to look like. Jesus is supposed be the center of the believers life. That God has a moral law ad everything is governed by it. This is where the ten commandments come in. The bibles says the reason that the ten commandments were given is so that we would know what sin is. But, at the crucifixion, He defeated sin and death. Jesus said He came to fulfill the law, not to do away with it. By Jesus sending the Holy Spirit to live in believers, it will help us to not do the deeds of the flesh. Christ wants our focus to be on Him, then He will help us to not make the focus on our selves. Christ wants us to walk before Him holy and upright, looking for the interests of others. When we care about other people and help them, the focus is off of ourselves and on another person. Jesus wants us to be humble and not boastful in all that we say and do. We should not tear down or act superior in any way toward them. Christ wants us to look to Him for all the answers. “Ask, and it shall be given to you, seek, and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened to you” Matthew 7:7 These three words are words that have no limits to them. Christ wants us to use these three words for a life time of learning. We will ever know enough to stop asking, seeking and knocking. All the knowledge and wisdom rests in Christ, He is the only one that can give answers to all our questions. in Hebrews 4:12-13 says, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edge sword, piercing as far as the division of soul ad spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts, and intentions of the heart, and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him we have to do”.
One last verse. “teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”. Matthew 28:20 Got it? He is with us to the very end.
Jesus say that we should hide His word in our heart. We should know God’s word so well, that it is a part of or very life. Reading God’s word, I should recognize the type of answer He would want me to give at the moment that I am talking to someone. Jesus said that my people parish for the lack of knowledge. We must remember that there is an adversary, he does not want to lose anybody to Christ. We have to understand and know that the poison darts, and arrows are a part of the salvation message. We have to put on the armor of God. What is the armor? Jesus’s own words that are in the bible. Unless we believe in our heart that the Spirit can help us in every situation and look to Him for help and remembrance, it will be a hit and miss situation with us.
