The Millennial Kingdom and Jesus Christ 9-22-2020 3 of 4

For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for his habitation. This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy with bread. Her priests also I will clothe with salvation; and her godly ones will sing aloud for joy.

Jesus had is own plan for this article, I am glad I followed His guidance in this. This series on the Millennium has turned into much more than I had ever expected. Subjects and verses kept coming up and I would fit them in what I was writing on at this time. What I had planned to be a two article paper has turned into 4. This was supposed to be the 3 of 3, now this is 3 of 4.

The Millennial Kingdom and Jesus Christ               9-15-2020              3-4

Spoil taken from Israel will be given back to Israel.

At the end of the tribulation, before satan is put into the abyss, all the nations against Christ and Israel will assemble to fight. These nations attach the current nation of Israel and start to kill and plunder, but Christ steps in and stops the war, the plundering, and everything is given back to Israel.
1. Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2. All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hannel to the to the kings wine press. 3. Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. 4. So also like the plague, will be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle that will be in those camps. 5. In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of horses, “Holy to the Lord.” And the cooking pots in the Lords house will be like the bowls before the alter. 6. And every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of Hosts; and all sacrifices will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day. 7. And the people will live in it, and there will be no more curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.

Description of the Throne of God.

And from the throne proceeded flashes of lightening and sounds of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; and before the throne there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind. And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature has a face like that of a man, and the fouth creature was like a flying eagle, and the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes all around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God, The Almighty, who was and who is to come.” And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who stis on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever. Revelation 4:5-9
A Throne is for judgment! And the one sitting on it is the judge of everyone and everything. Judgment contains both good and bad. It is God’s judgment that will judge man kind. It is not man judging God. There are two judgments from God. The first is the judgment of believers, once one believes we will only be judged on our deeds, we shall receive rewards for the good that we do and loss for the base things we do. Then we will be in the heavenly kingdom with Him. Then the judgment of unbelief. Just as there are degrees of righteosuness and rewards, there will be greater and lesser degrees of punishment for the people that go into the pit with satan. And God said that there is weeping and gnashing of teeth there. You have a choice of where you wind up. Will you look up to God and Christ and say, Jesus I want to believe, help me in my unbelief.

Revelation 20:4-6 Who sits on the Thrones during the Millennium and there use.

Jesus Christ sits on His Fathers throne in the middle of the throne room.

1. In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I (Isaiah) saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. 2. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of His kingdom forever. And your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; Your throne shall be established forever. In accordance with all these words and all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David. 3. But the Lord abides forever, He has established His throne for judgment, and He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know thy name will put their trust in Thee. 4. A just balance and scales belong to the Lord; all the weights of the bag are His concern. It is an abomination for the kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established on righteousness. 5. Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. His descendants shall endure forever, and His throne as the son before Me. It shall be established forever like the moon, and the witness in the sky is faithful. 6. The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. Thy throne is established from of old; Thou art everlasting. 7. Now the main point in what has been said is this; we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens, a minister in the sanctuary, and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; hence it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer. ( His gift to us was Jesus who offered Himself up to death for our salvation and eternal life.) 8. Then Peter answered and said to Him (Jesus) Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us? And Jesus said to them, “truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 9. And you are those who have stood by Me in My trials; and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribe of Israel. 10. For there thrones were set for judgment, the thrones of the house of David. (Unbelievers) 11. Sheol from beneath is excited over you to meet you come; it arouses for you the spirits of the dead, all the leaders of the earth; it raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones.

Thrones of the Elders of Israel

Revelation 4:2-5, 10-11. Immediately I (John) was in the Spirit; and behold , a throne was standing in heaven, and one sitting on the throne. And He was sitting was like a Jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like and emerald in appearance, And around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads. The twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy art thou our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou didst create all things of thy will they existed, and were created.”
The Bible has little to say about the twenty four elders in Revelation. Most of the people I read believed that the 24 elders are the redeemed of the Lord and or believers that have been saved. I read one account that said that the 24 elders were the 12 leaders of the tribes of Israel, and the 12 apostles.

A. Thrones of Men

1. Succession. Now the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; for I have risen in the place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. And there I have set the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord, which He made with the sons of Israel. 14-16, And he said (Solomon) O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to thy servants who walk before Thee with all their heart; who has kept with thy servant David, my father, that Thou hast promised him; indeed, Thou hast spoken with Thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with Thy hand as it is this day. Now therefore, O Lord, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David, my father, that Thou hast promised him, saying, you shall not lack a man to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons take heed to their way, to walk in My law as you have walked before Me. 2. Sovereignty. O’king, the most High God granted sovereignty, grandeur, glory, and majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your father. 3. Righteousness. It is a snare for a man to say rashly, it is holy! And after the vows to make inquiry. Loyalty and truth preserve the king, and he upholds his throne by righteousness. It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established on righteousness. For thou hast maintained my just cause; thou dost sit on the throne judging righteously. But the Lord abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment, and He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the people with equity. 4. Termination. For if you men will indeed perform this thing, then kings will enter the gates of this house, sitting in David’s place on his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, even the king himself and his servants and his people. But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself, declares the Lord, that this house will become a desolation. For thus says the Lord concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are like Gilead to Me, like the summit of Lebanon; yet most assuredly I shall make you like a wilderness, like cities which are not inhabited. For I shall set apart destroyers against you, each with weapons; and they will cut down your choicest cedars and throw them on the fire. And many nations will pass by this city; and they will say to one another, why has the Lord done thus to this great city? Then they will answer, because they forsook the covenant of the Lord their God and bowed down to other gods and served them. Do not weep for the dead or mourn for him, but weep continually for the one who goes away; for he will never return or see his native land again.

1. 2 Chronicles 6:10-11, 14-16, 2. Daniel 5:18-21, 3. Proverbs 20 :25, Proverbs 16:12, Psalm 9:4, 7-8 4 Jeremiah 22:4-10

1. And in those days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. 2. Ruling Shadrack, Meshack and Abed-nego in the furnace, Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and stood up in haste; he responded and said to his officials, was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said to the king, Certainly, O king. He answered and said, Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods! They then came near to door of the furnace of blazing fire; he responded and said to the three men, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here! Then the three men came out of the midst of the fire. 3. Eternity. And He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of the street. And on either side of the river was a the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the were for the healing of the nations. And there was no longer any curse; and the throne of God and of the lamb shall be in it, and His bond-servants shall serve Him; and they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

C. Christ Authority and duration

1. Eternal. I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Thou hast a strong arm; Thy hand is mighty, thy right hand is exalted. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of thy throne; lovingkindness and truth go before thee. 2. Explained. For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. On the throne of David and over his kingdom, tp establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this. 3. Function. They say to Him, Thus says the Lord of Hosts, Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the Lord. Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the Lord, and he who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices. 4. Promised. And behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of his father David; and He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end. 5. Christ rules. And what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, these are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at the right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come, And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.      6. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 7. Unity in sharing. And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” And every created thing which is on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” And the four living creatures kept saying, Amen. And the Elders fell down and worshiped.  8. Shares with believers. He who overcomes, I will grant to Him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 9. Judges. But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His throne.

What is the Times of the gentiles and fullness of the gentiles?

Luke 21:24 And they (the Jews) will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be lead captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled (trodden)under foot by the gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
The times of the Gentiles runs from the destruction of Jerusalem in seventy (70) AD by the Romans, to Christ second coming. The Romans burned and tore down the Temple and the walls to the old city of Jerusalem. With the Temple and the old city of Jerusalem in ruins, the Jews were dispersed to all the nations of the world. At this time they went to many nations, but mainly Russia and Eastern Europe. When Stalin started coming to power, he told the Jews they had to get out of Russia. In the 1900 many came to the US and western and eastern Europe.

Little History of Israel.   When Babylon had taken the last remnant of Israel to Babylon in 597 BC, only the poorest of the poorest were left. God had told Israel their unrepentant sins is why He sent the King of Babylon in three stages to get Israel out of their home land. God told Israel that they would be there for seventy years. Millions went into captivity and the Babylonians destroyed the temple and the walls Jerusalem. The Arabs of the land while residing in the land, left most of the ruins undisturbed. When the Persian conquered the Babylonians in 586 BC under King Cyrus. Millions went into exile, but only 39,000+ returned to rebuild Israel the old city and the Temple.

Even though the State of Israel was started in 1948 by the United Nations, many countries claimed ownership of certain areas with in the boarders of Israel. Some willingly gave the ancient parts of Israel, but many Arab countries did not agree. There were skirmishes at the time with Arabs trying to recapture the territory that was given up. In 1967 There was an all out assault by the Arab nations of Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, plus other minor Arab nation. Egypt had amassed a very large army in the Sani Peninsula. Syria amassed its army in the Golan Heights, overlooking Israel in the N.E.. Jordan was to attack around Jericho and go into Jerusalem. The Jordanians controlled East Jerusalem and Bethlehem at this time.

The day before the Arabs was going to invade Israel, Israel had put their own plan into motion by attacking Egypt with about 185 fighter jets destroying much of their equipment, and putting the Egyptian army into confusion. Israel also attacked Syrian possessions in the Golan heights and did the same thing to them. When the three Arab nations attacked they were ineffective and were losing badly. On the 6th day the UN called a cease fire to stop the fighting and save what was left of the Arab armies. By the time the UN stepped in, Israel had captured the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Stripe, the Golan Heights from Syria, and took East Jerusalem and the West Bank from Jordan.

Israel and Egypt signed a peace treaty in March of 1979. Israel gave back the Siani Peninsule to Egypt in 1982. Israel gave the Gaza Stripe up in 2005. Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty in October of 1994. Now Israel, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain signed a peace treaty, this month September of 2020.

God is protecting Israel in the state they are. He will reclaim them totally when Christ’s foot hits the temple mount, and it is split in two.

Even though Israel is back in their land, before the second coming of Christ occurs, the false prophet will come forward and make a peace agreement with the nations of the world for three and a half years. They will be able to rebuild their temple under this peace deal. Then in the middle of the three and a half years the false prophet, will brake the peace treaty, set Himself up as ruler over the whole world, all will have to take the mark of the beast, many will be martyred because they would take the mark, some will get through without having to take the mark of the beast. He will go into the temple and sacrifice a pig on the alter, which is called the abomination of desolation. This is the second time this has happened, the first came about in about 160 BC, when Antiochus Epiphanies offered a pig on the alter of the Temple. The two Maccabee brothers start a revolt over this and over threw one of the three successors of Alexander the Great.

1. For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that the partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come; and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, The deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them; when I take away their sin. 2. But all of these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. 3. I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you, After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you will behold Me; because I live, you shall live also. In that day you shall know that I am in My Father; and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to Him.

Because God removed Israel from the land for disobedience and rejection of Jesus. Gone from a national salvation of Israel to individual salvation of Jew and gentile under Christ. Spiritual, and nation wide blindness of Israel for the rejection of God and Christ. It is the fullness of the gentiles, the exact number of gentiles that Christ is going to save. When that number is reached, Christ will return for His own believers, defeat satan and establish Israel as a nation in their own homeland and the apple of God’s eye, they will learn all about their Messiah that they rejected because of their blindness. They will have a millinnium to learn about their Messiah

The Millennium and Jesus Christ

  Reverence                               Proverbs 8:12-17

I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, I find knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way, and the perverted and the evil way, and a perverted mouth, I hate.  Council is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine. By Me kings reign, and rulers decree justice, by Me princes rule, and nobles, all who judge rightly. I love those who love Me; and those who diligently seek Me will find Me.

The Millennium and Jesus Christ                August 25, 2020              Part 2 of 3

The second coming of Jesus Christ, and the defeat of satan and his evil people.
1. Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jessie, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear; but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; and He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist. 2. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 3. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. 4. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 5. (The dead saints are taken up into the air when the marriage supper of the Lamb starts, here. His saints will be dressed in fine white linen, because Jesus says the fine linen is the righteous acts. of the saints). And John saw heaven open, He saw Jesus coming riding on a white horse, and Jesus is called faithful and true; in His righteousness He judges and wages war. Christ is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called “The Word of God”. His armies dressed in fine linen white and clean followed Him. And on His robe and thigh were written the words, “KING of KINGS, and LORD of LORDS”. Birds of the air are called to the great super of God. They will eat the flesh of kings of the earth, and armies gathered to make war against who sat upon the white horse. The beast and the false prophet who had done great signs and received the mark of the beast. The rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat upon the white horse. Also Revelation 19:7, Revelation 17:5. 6. The the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations. as when He fights on a day of battle. 7. And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He amy smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 8. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and He cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in mid heaven, “Come, assemble for the great supper of the God; in order that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.” And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse, and His army. And the rest was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown into the Lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat upon the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. 9. And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

1. Isaiah 11:1-5, 2. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 3. 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 4. 1 Thessalonians 4:18, 5. Revelation 19:20, 6. Zechariah 4:3, 7. Revelation 9:15, 8. Revelation 19:17-21, 9. Revelation 20:1-3,

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in a twinkling eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead in Christ will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
With all of the dead saints in the air, and those that are alive now and our bodies changed like Christs. Jesus can now judge the earth. The beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

We shall reign with Christ and help Him rule in His kingdom.

Now all the saints, raised from the dead and taken up alive are put on the earth, to work and reign with Christ. Christ said we would be with Him in His kingdom.
1. It is a trustworthy statement; for if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him; if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will deny us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself. 2. Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey Him. 3. Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, matters of this life. 4. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

1. 2 Timothy 2:11-13, 2. Daniel 7:27, 3. 1 Corinthians 6:2-3, 4. Galations 3:29

In the parables, they are to show how people respond to Christ in everyday situations and the results of their actions, positively and negatively.

1. Matthew 25:14-30 Parable of the talents. For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves, and entrusted his possessions to them. a. And to one he gave five talents, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey. Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more. b. In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more. c. But he who had received the one talent went away and dug into the ground, and hid his masters money. Now after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.

Results: And the one that had received the five more talents, saying, Master you entrusted five talents to me; see, I have gained five more talents. And the one that had been given two talents came and said to His master, see, I have gained two more talents, and the master said to them, well done good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, and I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master. And the slave that buried his talent, came to his master and said, here is your talent, I knew that you were a hard man reaping where you did not sow, gathering where you did not seed, I was afraid, and went away a buried the talent in the ground; see you have what is yours. The master answered and said, You wicked and lazy slave, you knew that I reaped where I did not sow, and gathered where I did not seed. You have ought to put the money into the bank for me to draw interest on until I returned. The master said take that talent away from him and give it to the man that has ten.
2. The Noble Man. A certain nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and then return. And he called ten of his slaves and gave them ten minas, and said to them, do business with this until I come back. But the citizens hated Him, and sent a delegation after him saying, we do not want this man to reign over us. And it came about that when he returned, after receiving the kingdom, he ordered these slaves, to whom he had given the money, be called to Him in order that he might know what business they had done. a. The first appeared, master, your minah has made ten minas more, the nobleman said, well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a little thing, be in authority over ten cities. The second came, saying, master, your mina has made five minas. b. The nobleman said to him also, be in charge over five cities. c. The third one came saying, master, behold you mina, which I kept put away in a handkerchief; for I was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow. The nobleman said, by your own words I will judge you, you worthless slave. You should have put it in the bank so I could have had interest on it until I came.  3. The Ten Virgins. Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five of them were prudent. But the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now when the bridegroom was delaying, they got drowsy and began to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him. Then all the virgins rose, and trimmed lamps. And the foolish said to the prudent, give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the prudent answered, saying no, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves. And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. And latter the other virgins also came, saying Lord, Lord, open up for us. But He answered and said, “Truly I say to you, I do not know you.” Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.

1. Matthew 24:14-30, 2. Luke 19:17, 3. Matthew 25:14-30

Christ will try us during our life to show us what we are made of and how we can improve in an area. It is during these trials that Jesus will mold and shape us to be more like Him. He will give us new areas of strength. He wants to mold us into a kingdom person that helps Christ rule, Also be able to with stand the onslaught of the devil by other people. These trials are like the Talents, the minas and other parables in the Bible. They show us our weaknesses, but also they are a tool in Jesus hands to hand pick people who can do God’s will and not change the directions. This is how Christ picks the people who will be in charge of citities, and other leaders that Christ wants to help Him. I read an article about the millennium, that this person figured there would be about two hundred million people in Jesus’s kingdom. Israel would be in it own place, the original boundaries that God gave them in Exodus. The rest of the world would be filled with people that came into the millennium.

The gathering of Israel into the Kingdom of Christ.

1. I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, here am I, here am I, to a nation which did not call on My name. I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts, a people who continually provoke Me to My face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on bricks; who sit among graves, and spend the night in secret places; who eat swine’s flesh, and the broth of unclean meat is in their pots. Who say, “Keep to yourself”, do not come near Me, for I am holier than you!” These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day. Behold, it is written before Me, I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their bosom, both their own iniquities and the iniquities of their fathers together, says the Lord. Because they have burned incense on the mountains, and scorned Me on the hills. Therefore I will measure their former work into you bosom.” 2. Behold the days are coming, declares the Lord, When I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was husband to them, declares the Lord. But this is covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, “Know the Lord, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, declares the Lord,” For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more. 3. And in those days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all the kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. 4. In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins, and rebuild is in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by My name, declares the Lord who does this. Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine, and all the hills will be dissolved. Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will build the ruined cities and live in them, they will plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit, I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them, says the Lord your God. 5. Now it will come about in the last days, the mountains of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations shall stream to it. And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us concerning His ways, and that we may walk in His paths. For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He will judge between the nations, and will render decisions for many peoples; and they will hammer their swords into plow shares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war. 6. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him! 7. And the seventh angel sounded; and there arose loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever. And the twenty four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, We give Thee thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who art and who wast, because thou hast taken Thy great power and hast begun to reign. 8. And so when they had come together, they (the disciples) asking Him, saying, Lord, is it at this time You are retoring the kingdom to Israel? He said to them, it is not for you to know times and epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority. 9. Before she trevailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons. Shall I bring to the point of birth, and not give delivery? Says the Lord. Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb? Says your God. 10. Then you will say on that day, I will give thanks to thee, O Lord; for although thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou dost comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted. Praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things; let this be known throughout the earth. Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

Nations that battle against Israel suffer lose.

1. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, houses plundered, woman ravished, half the city exciled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 2. Now this is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who go to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 3. Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. Here we have a group of enemies of who just fought against Israel and now they are in the kingdom going go up yearly to worship Jesus in the fall at the Feast of Booths. Also called the Feast of Tabernacles.

Nations that do not go up to Jerusalem to worship Jesus suffer lose.

1. Zechariah 14:17 And it will be that which ever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, there will be no rain on them. 2. Zechariah 14:18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the feast of booths. 3. Zechariah 14:19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

Final thoughts.
The Church and Israel will both be in the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. The believers will be working with Christ in the position that Christ gives for each believer. Israel will be learning about their Messiah that they had rejected in the first century. They will completely rebuild Israel, in all the land that God gave them in Exodus. Israel is the Apple of God eye, He will watch over them, work with them, to restore to them what was lost from them from the beginning of defeat of the Assyrians and the Chaldean’s. Jesus is the ultimate multi tasker. Jesus calls up the dead, then the individual believers, Israel, assigns everybody their positions in the Millennium. Just think, all this is done in the twinkling of an eye. Thank you Jesus.

The Millennium and Jesus Christ

Reverence              Job 26:7-14                                            July 17, 2020

“He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing. He wraps up the waters in His clouds; and the cloud does not burst under them, He obscures the face of the full Moon, and spreads His cloud over it. He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters, at the boundary of light and darkness. The pillars of heaven tremble, and are amazed at His rebuke. He quieted the sea with His power, and by His understanding He shattered Rahab. By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent. Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; and how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

The Millennium and Jesus Christ Part 1 of 3

1. satan thrown into the Abyss.

1. And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2. And he lay hold of the dragon, the serpent of old who is the devil and satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3. and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time,
Revelation 20:1-3

2. What time of year do these things start to happen?

1. Now learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branches has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 2. And He told them a parable: “Behold the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near. Even so you, too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away untill all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. 3. But the day or hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. Take heed, be on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is.
1. Matthew 24:32-33, 2. Luke 21:29-31, 3. Mark 13:32
This is the time of year that the Passover is celebrated every year. This year Passover was on April 8th. The Passover was a perpetual term the Bible uses. With the Millennium the Passover mark Christs death and resurrection. With Him now coming as conquering King, There are three feasts that will be celebrated in Christs kingdom.
3. What will be happening when Jesus Christ comes.
1. And it will come about in that day that a great panic from the Lord will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of the one will be lifted against the hand of the other. 2. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just as the days of Noah. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark. Even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. and they did not understand until the flood came and took them away; so shall the Son of Man be. Then there shall be two men in the field; one will be taken, and one shall be left, two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one shall be left. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house has known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

1. Zechariah 14:13, 2. Matthew 24:36-44                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       People will be doing everyday work when the Lord comes. One day is like another, until the trumpet sounds and He appears. In the twinkling of an eye.

4. How is the Son of man coming.

For just as the lightning comes from the east, and flashes even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Matthew 24:27-31
There has to be total darkness over the whole earth, in order for everybody to see Christ’s coming, If there is not total darkness over whole earth, as it is right now, there is always light somewhere.
1. Then there shall be two men in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. 2. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken; and one shall be left. 3. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. 4. But be sure of this, that is the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 5. For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming when you do not think He will. 6. then is the faithful and sensible slave whom the master put in charge of His household to give them food at the proper time? 7. Blessed is the slave whom His master finds so doing when He comes. 8. Truly I say to you, that he will put him in charge of all His possessions. 9. But if that slave says in his heart, My master is not coming for a long time, 10. and shall begin to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards. 11. the master of the slave will come on a day when he does not expect him at an hour which he does not know. and He shall cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; weeping shall be there and the gnashing of teeth.
1. Matthew 24:27-31, 2. Matthew 24:40, 3. Matthew 24:41, 4. Matthew 24:42, 5. Matthew 24:43, 6. Matthew 24:44, 7. Matthew 24:44, 8. Matthew 24:45, 9. Matthew 24:46, 10. Matthew 24:47, 11. Matthew 24:48-51

Does God and His thunder and lightening draw attention to Himself, yes, I am here, look as He displays these wondrous works in the heavens? Do you think about what God is thinking when this happens? Or do you ever think about God at all? If you have not thought about God and Jesus Christ before then, it will to late.

5. The second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 14:3-8 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.
Now having been questioning by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, look here it is! Or there it is! For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” And He said to the disciples, the days shall come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And they shall say to you, look there! Look here! Do not go away, and do not run after them. Luke17:20-23
Zechariah 14:9 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, My God will come, and the holy ones with Him! And it will come about in that day that there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. For it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but will come about that at evening time there will be light. And it will come about in that day that living waters will flow from out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. And the Lord will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.

The Millennium is the reign of the Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. The first peace in 6,000 years where there is peace all over the whole world. The seventh milllennium starts with Christ having an angel putting satan into the abyss and locking him in place, away from tempting people any further for a thousand years. During this time people will see what true peace is. Christs peace will be mandatory. There will be no disention For 1,000 years. Man has had the choice of not following and believing in God and Jesus. Now if you do not agree to obey there will a penalty for your disobedience. I have come to understand that there will be people alive in the Millennium that have accepted Christ at sometime during their life, but never did anything with it. There will be people on earth that accepted Christ and now do not believe the very things they accepted at one time. There will be babies born that will have to learn of Jesus Christ.
There are some in Christian circles that believe that once saved means always saved. I think that people will get complacent, and go their own way. But with Christ if they come into the millennium, everyone will get more than their share of opportunities to come to the saving knowledge of Christ. This will be the very last chance anybody will ever have. At the end of the millennium, there are hundred of millions of people who will not. When satan is released they will align themselves with satan to fight against God, but they are killed by the fire that came down from heaven.

6. Be ready in any season or time.

Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps alight. And be like men who are waiting for their master when He returns from the wedding feast, do that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those slaves whom the master shall find on the alert when He comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. Whether He comes in the second watch, or even the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves. And be sure of this, if the head of the house has known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into. You too, be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.
This was a parable given to His disciples. Then Jesus goes on to answer the parable for them.
And the Lord said, who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of His servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? Blessed is the slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you, that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that slave says in his heart, My masterwill be a long time in coming, and begins to beat the slaves, both men and the women, and to eat and drink get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him, and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, assign him a place with the unbelievers. And that slave who knew his master’s will did not get ready or act in accord with his will, shall receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. And from everyone who has been given much shall much be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him the will ask all the more. Luke 12:35-48

7. There is a cost of being a disciple of Christ’s

Christ said; “I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two, and two against three. They will be divided, father against son, and son against father, mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:49-53
At first this made no sense to me. I had ask my self a question, would I ever get mad for something a brother or sister would do to me, or me to them? I said no. Then one day I was telling my brother about Jesus. There came a look of puzzlement on his face, he said, I have not made my mind up. I know God is a higher power but I do not know about Jesus. He never did want to talk to me about Christ again. This very thing will happen in your family, friends, relatives. I know several families that do not talk to each other because one has given their life to Christ, and they do not feel close anymore. It is like one putting a line on the ground, that belief that is not familiar is one reason to exclude instead of embrace. Think about what some politicians think about christians, other religions think against Christianity. Do you see Jesus’s point now? Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6

8. People who come through the tribulation into the Millennium Revelation 20:4

a. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, b. and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, c. and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; d. and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
b. All the people that made it through the tribulation period that did not take the mark of the beast will go into the Millennium. (20:4 b.)
a. The people who were standing around God’s throne that has been beheaded and are matyrd because of their testimony for Christ. (20:4a)
c. All others will not be resurrected until the marriage super of the Lamb. Who are all the others? They are the people who had died a natural death from the time they accepted Christ as their savior. (20:4c)
During this thousand year reign of Christ, this will give everybody in the millennium a chance to see Christ for who He is. There will be many who will reject Christ at the end of this time of peace. Then when satan is released, they will go join the final rebellion against Christ.
What my personal belief is, all christians will go through the tribulation. Some believe that there is a mid tribulation rapture of believers. I do not believe that. The bible never mentions that, some say this is a secret rapture. Have you every read about God or Christ ever hiding anything from His believers. It would be in the Bible if it were so.

9. Resurrection of Old Testament and dead church saints

                                                                                                                                                                 1. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, those to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. And those who have insight will shine brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 2. Your dead will live; their corpses will rise, you who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, for the dew is as the dew of the dawn, and the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. Come, My people, enter into your rooms, and close your doors behind you; hide for a little while, until indignation runs its course. For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place to punish the habitants of the earth for their iniquity; and the earth will reveal her bloodshed, and no longer cover her slain. 3. But to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it says,”When He ascended on high, He led captive a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men. 4. Thou hast ascended on High, Thou hast led captive Thy captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, even among the rebellious also, that the Lord God may dwell there. 5. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. But to each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming. 6. But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Lord , shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 7. All those that share in the first resurrection are called are blessed and holy. 8. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
1. Daniel 12:2-3, 2. Isa 26:19-21, 3. Ephesians 4:7-8, 4. Psalm 68:18, 5. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23, 6. I Thessalonians 4:13-18, 7. Revelation 20:6, 8. 1 Corinthians 15:25

10. All those that belong to Jesus will be changed in twinkling of an eye

Behold I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead shall be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this imperishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swalloded up in victory, O death, where is your victory? O death where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

11. The Gathering of Israel from across the World.                                                   Prophecies of Christ bringing Israel back into the land God gave them.

1. Then I myself shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and shall bring them back to their pasture; and they will be fruitful and multiply. I shall also raise up shepherds over them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor terrified, nor will any be missing, declares the Lord. 2. And I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile. 3. The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered. 4. Go through, go through the gates; clear the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Behold , the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth, say to the daughter of Zion, low your salvation comes; behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him. And they will call them, “the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord;” and you will be called, “sought out, a city not forsaken.” 5. Gather My godly ones to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice, and the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is judge. 6. I will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land. 7. For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the gentiles come in; and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “The deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” From the stand point of the gospel they are enemies for you sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now you have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, in order that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. For God has shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the LORD, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

1. As I live, declares the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand and with an out stretched arm and with wrath poured out. I shall be king over you. I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you from lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an out stretched arm and with wrath poured out; and I shall be king over you. And I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you were scattered, with a mighty hand and with an out stretchted arm and with wrath poured out; and I shall bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I shall enter into judgment with you face to face. As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, declares the Lord. And I shall make you pass under the rod, and I shall bring you into bond of the covenant; and I shall purge from you the rebels and those who transgress against Me; I shall bring them out of the land where they so journ, but they will not enter the land of Israel, thus you will know that I am the Lord. As for you, O house of Israel, thus says the Lord God, go serve everyone his idols; but later, you will surely listen to Me, and My Holy name you will profane no longer with your gifts and with your idols. For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel, declares the Lord God, There the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I shall accept them, and there I shall seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holly things.
2. Therefore prophesy, and say to them, thus says the Lord God, “Behold I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people, and I will bring you into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. And I will put My Spirit within you, and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it,” declares the LORD.

Their are christians and christian organizations the believe that the church has replaced Israel as the apple of God’s eye. It is called Replacement Theology. After reading what God has said about Israel, that is a false belief. Jerusalem, Israel will be the city Christ rules from in the millennium. We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Unrest in America

Unrest in America                                           Article June 30th of 2020.

It is disturbing to see our country trying to be over run by people who have no interest in making this country better. America has been willing to change, the vast majority of people of this country would not be against more integration. This country has more integration than any other country. How did we get into this situation? For the most part we have gone about our way because it did not affect us personally. Unfortunately there were no black kids in our grade schools. When I was a Junior in high school there were five or six black teens that enrolled into our high school. They were there for about a month, and left, It was said that they came and found no resistance. They were accepted without any derogatory comments of their color. When I was nineteen I got to work with three black men in a foundry. I was told that there was a black man coming onto the swing shift that did not like whites. His first night, I went up and introduced my self, smiled, he smiled back, we shook hands and we had a great relationship. I was blessed when a I was a volunteer chaplain in our church, I got to call on all colors in the hospital. I hope that Jesus never finds any racist views or disparaging comments in my heart toward anyone. I live in the the N.W. About 15 years ago I wanted to start a black and white work team, that would work on poor peoples homes in the black and white neighborhoods. I talked to a well known black musician. We had lunch and he liked the idea. We meet several times more and he said that they wanted to meet some where with in the N.E. Area they lived in. . I contacted a local bible college, Since I graduated from there. I set a date, paid a rental fee, gave this gentleman the particulars of the meeting place and no one showed up. I Called him several times and I got no response from him. Then a I contacted a teacher from the college, called me and liked what I wanted to do about bringing black and white men to work together. After getting to know one another by talking together, he saw black and white working together to help some one else. This professor also was a black pastor at a black church, and after a month, he came back and said he had no men in his church that was interested in working with us in any community. My pastor, at the church I attended, said he had been in a reconciliation group in N.E. part of this city with a population of about 400,000 once a month, for a few years. When I told him about this, he said I hope this can be done, because this group that he was in only wanted to talk about the problems, but not do anything about the problems. I contacted another church in N.E. of the city, and the assistant pastor after listening to me, accused me of being a racist because I was trying to get black men from the N.E. area and was going to only work on homes in the white areas. I said no that is not my goal. That was that. Three black leaders in congregations all saying they could not find any black men to work with white men to help the poor and elderly. I was surprised to say the least. I had 10 or twelve white men ready to work alongside a black men. But the black leaders could not get any black men to work with a white man.
Blacks accuse whites as being racist, this is one instance that blacks were unwilling to work with whites at all. I felt that there was an opportunity to get something started, instead it was stopped cold.

What hurts now is we have a group that has the right to say America, you have failed us. That is true, to some extent, help us to change it so we can partake of its acceptance, and wealth. I think that the black leadership should say to our president, this is the way you can help us, this is what we need from the citizens of our country too. School choice should be on the list. Schools pass people along to keep the slow ones behind. Get black leaders on the same page. So the whites can get behind what is being done. Let us start talking to each other, not over each other. Get white and blacks talking about issues to fix the issues of what is needed. Until we get understanding about what you want from whites, and how we can help, this will be just another stale mate. We should have a message that is simple and understanding, nothing ambiguous. Draw a plan and stick to it. Who will want to start? Who is willing? Who will listen to help? Someone, please from the black community. Do not say to us, well, we have problems you do not understand. I would say in return, we also have problems that you do not understand. This is the dilemma. How do we get past this the dilemma.
But we have another group of people that is using this opportunity for change, to tear this country apart because our attention is split. Why are a few people trying to do this? This is a simplistic answer. They do not want any country that is free, like America, to be free as we have been. They want to tear down America, they want to pit white, against the black, they want to remove our history from in front of our eyes so we cannot look back and say, yes we did that, but we changed and did better, we can still do much better. The question is, are we going to let the communists, the anarchists to divide and conquer us. Which means the white and black and all the other colors in this country alike will be indentured to some one that does not care about anybodies history, feelings, needs, aspirations, they only look to enslave everybody. Black and White, and all other colors. Do we care about them?

There are two ways that this country can go. It will depend on those people who want this country to continue what was started in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was signed. This country has been a beacon to those who want to be free from tyranny. I saw a figure that over 1,000,000 a year come to America for a new beginning. Starting a dream of inclusion, being free of any repression, to work at what you want to instead of having to work at were you are told. At one time everybody was proud to be an American. We are the most inclusive people on the face of this earth. Accepting other colors and nationalities without question. Most of Americans are not racist, it is a lack of understanding how to help.
After reading what I have written, blacks have been left out of a lot of things, But if they want to be included, they have to break away from the democratic party, because the democratic party has bought the black leaders and thus enslaved the rest of their black population. Under LBJ, when the Civil Rights Act was signed, in it the US would pay all black women a certain amount of money for each child, regardless if their was a man in the house or not. That is where we started going wrong. The politicians started the decline of the black family. We have enslaved the black population in a different type of slavery, one where the black leaders were paid money to keep the common every day black population in the pocket of the democratic party. It is true that the police stop black people 2-3 times as much as other nationalities. The blacks are citizens of the United State, and as such they should not have to fear the police from stopping them because they are black. The police also draw their guns way to quickly. If a black persons runs, you have their car to tell you where to go to find them. Let other Americans not look down on the blacks because of old stereotypes. All black leaders, white leaders and church leaders ought to be in city hall with the mayor, working out what will and won’t be accepted. Make no demands, but work on being equable. Let all Americans live their lives in peace, beat the anarchists back to the holes they came out of, put the mayors out of office who have caved to their wants, and did not stand up for the vast population that does not want to be enslaved to another country or people who hate America for what it stands for. God Bless America. May God bless her as we Americans try to make right what has gone wrong. Let us do what is right in the sight of God, His eyes are upon us all, but the poor and down trodden He love. One does not have all knowledge, Let the liberals resign in shame for what they have done. How do we as black and white come together? This is a people issue, it is how we look at each other that we have to address this first. There are a lot of people that have some really good ideas, How do we start coming together? I am not a republican or a democrat, but independent.

Jesus is all inclusive. He said that there is no slave nor free, no Jew nor Greek. Jesus is free of any nationalism, or religion. I have blacks as friends, I would like more, but how do we get past the distrust of one to the other? The answer to this question will determine how quickly we can start to talk, to see really how much we have in common.

How can God say the Bible can convict people of Sin

May 24th, 2020

Reverence                                                                                                                          Ephesians 3: 14-19 For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadeth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Amen

Who stands behind the Bible and its truth? The Bible is God revealed in the printed text. God is unseen, but Abram, and many other men God chose He talk to. They talked to Him just as He was another person next to Him. God gave those men the assurance of who He was and what He wanted them to do. They were not perfect. God knew these men were not perfect. God works through imperfect people, because they love Him and what He stands for. Just as God is all powerful, He is also the most tender, loving, understanding (being) I know. He knew from the beginning of creation man could not control himself. Without the knowledge of a creator, or one that wants to guide, man will never accept Him. In growing up, I had a limited concept of God. My concept of God was limited from my parents, I went to Sunday school but did not learn anything. That is on me, not the trying to teach. When I was a senior in High school, a person from the church my parents went to, was in their home soliciting funds to build a new church. I just happened to come through the back door. He said something to me about giving and I said no. When I was going back out the door, he made a comment about me and where I was with the Lord. I thought to myself, if that is the way christians are, I do not want anything to with them. I had formed an impression of God based on nothing God had said or done, but man. I turned my life into a very big mess. Who was there to talk to me in my darkest hours, God, who I learned later is Jesus Christ in the flesh. John 1:14 As I learned, by making assumptions on a few words is not like reading God’s word for all the truth. Jesus turned my life right side up, and knowing the truth about Him. If I hear something about God, I go to His word to see if it is true. The Bible speaks of things we know nothing about, sometimes it is beyond our eyes, our hearing, and thinking. God wants all of our senses open so He can communicate with us. (You will absolutely love it.) Jesus will open up to you, His very thoughts and actions, and talk to you in the night when you are alone and you are listening. God is the good Spirit in this world, to help us to do His will in our lives. There are other spirits in our relm, satanic, in King James version, in Ephesians 6:16 “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” We have an opponent, that wants to make us look to other things other than God and Christ. satan knows his fate already, from Genesis three. His place is in the pit, the question is, how many will be in the pit with him. There is a battle for your soul. Are you going with the devil, satan, or with God who will equip you with everything you need to fight against satan. Jesus will give you an everlasting love in your life, make meaning for your life, build you up, not and try and tear you down to do evil things. This is a matter of life and death. Life with Christ, or death in the pit with satan. Eternal life with Christ, or eternal death with satan, where torment and gnashing of teeth will be a terrible end. This will be forever and ever.

How does God’s word convict people?

1. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? God kjv 2. While they stood in place, they read from the book of the law of the Lord their God for a fourth of the day; and for another fourth they confessed and worshiped the Lord their God. 3. This you know, my beloved brethren. But let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove your selves doers of the word, and not only hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in the mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately for gotten what kind of person he was. 4. My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord, or loathe His reproof, for whom the Lord loves He reproves, even as a father, the son in whom he delights. How blessed is the man who finds wisdom , and the man who gains understanding. 5. Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the law comes knowledge of sin. 6. God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And His radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high; having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. 7. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of the things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

What did Jesus do to finalize our salvation?

1. And they crucified Him, and divided up His garments among themselves, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take. And it was about the third hour when they crucified Him. And the inscription of the charge against Him read, “The King of the Jews.” 2. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. 3. Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.” 4. there is therfore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the requirements of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 5. And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.
1. Mark 15:24-26 2. John 3:17 3. John 8:12 4. Romans 8:1-3 5. John 3:19-21

                                                         Jesus man and God.

1. Have this attitude in your selves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond servant, and being made in the likeness of men. After being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 2. And the word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. 3. Timothy 2:5-11 There is one God, and mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

1. Philippians 2:5-11 2. John 1:14 3. 1 Timothy 2:5-11

                                                The results in righteousness.

1. Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulation, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 2. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. 3. I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 4. For He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you. 5. Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may become accountable to God; because no works of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. But know apart from the law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. 6. And God took Abram outside and said, Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them, “so shall your descendants be. Then Abram believed in the Lord, and God reckoned it to Him as righteousness. 7. Even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe, for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Even believing you are still a sinner, but Christ looks beyond our sin and sees your faith in Him. As you walk with Christ you will sin less.)
1. Romans 5:1-11 2. Hebrews 4:15-16 3. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10 4. 2 Corinthians 6:2 5. Romans 3:19-21 6. Genesis 15:6 7. Romans 3:22

Jesus willingly, without reservation, knowing what His Father wanted, that He died for the whole world. God, even though He chose men to start Judaism, it does not mean that Judaism is what God wanted from the people. Judaism was started for man to look at God and get to know God for who He is. The Hebrews were dissatisfied with God because He did not meet their every need when they wanted it. What God was wanting from them was faith in Him and obedience. He was meeting their needs, He was showing them who He was by the miracles He was performing on the Egyptians. Israel had defeated all the nations in the land God had taken them to. It was not in their strength they defeated them. The Jews missed the whole point, obedience, salvation and peace, disobedience, trials, and death. The point was to follow God, trust Him in His plan for them, and their paths would be straight, their lives would be peaceful. God wanted them to know that it was He, only He, not them that brought this all about. Instead they perverted God’s laws at every turn, ignored God’s instruction. Some of Christianity has followed pretty much the same path. As the early church began to be more organized, the leaders started perverting power to themselves. Making rules and regulations that are not in the Bible. The early church became known as the Catholic Church. Catholic means universal Church. The Catholic Pope’s made themselves equal to God and Christ, and they became the center instead of Christ. They want you to call leaders father, but Jesus said call no one father on earth, because you have a Father in heaven. Matthew 23:9

The law of God is for all people and faith in Christ is for all people.

All have to come with heart in hand and ask Jesus to take my heart and change it into what He wants me to be.  They come from the same place.  Men have a tendency to add to, or take away from the original words to suit them.  That is where God becomes complicated for people. This person thinks it means this or that, that we shouldn’t do it this way, or that way. There have been men who have not perverted the word of God, and there have been men who come up with new ideas, just like Judaism. Men want to be in control of what other people believe. How about we let God work His work in all people. The Bible lacks nothing that man cannot understand. Do not fall for any denomination that has there own bible. They have perverted God’s word, His deeds and beliefs. He wants people to tell other people about Him, about His mighty wonders and love for all people. This one verse is the plainest verses there is,   For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.   In doing this, you have become righteous in Gods eyes.

Passover Lamb – Messiah – Jesus

Passover Lamb – Messiah – Jesus

How was the first Passover Lamb prepared in Egypt, in Exodus 12:3-11

On the 10th day of Nissan, take a lamb or a goat from the herd, and keep it separate from the others. On the 14th day of the same month you shall kill it. The the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight. They shall take some of the blood and put it on the doors posts and on the cross member, in which they eat it. They shall eat the flesh the same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. Do not eat any of it raw or boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire, both its head and its legs and entrails. You shall not have any left over until morning, if there is any left till morning, you shall burn it with fire. Now you shall eat it in this manner: “with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff on your hand; and you shall eat in haste– it is the Lord’s Passover.” They must be ready to go in an instant.

This Passover is to celebrate the miracles of God, and what it took to get Pharaoh to let the Hebrews go. Leaving Egypt and gaining freedom from the repressive Egptians from their forced labor in making bricks for building new cities in Egypt. They had been in Egypt for 430 years, when Jacob and his family, 70 people, sons, wives, children to save them from famine. Abraham was promised by God a land, and from his descendants after him a great nation would come forth from him. This is the start of the fulfillment of that promise to Abraham. The other purpose of this Passover was the Start of the nation of Israel, that God claimed them for His own people, and He would be their God and protector, if they followed Him in obedience. Leviticus 26:3

Paschal refers to the Jewish holiday of the Feast of Unleavened bread. This feast, the celebration of God bringing Israel out of Egypt from the land of bondage. When the Passover lamb was killed, the blood of the lamb was to be spread on the porch posts and cross member so when the Angel of death went through the land of Egypt, He would see the blood and pass over the house. The house that did not have the blood on the posts, the angel of death would kill the first born of the children, flocks, cattle, beast, etc. The Feast of Unleavened Bread, Passover was an annual holiday, not the weekly Sabbath.
The weekly sabbath runs from sun down Friday, to sundown Saturday. To Israel, their new day started at sundown. It is a weekly event. There were three national holidays, they are like our national holidays, it advances 1 day each year, so Passover was on a different days each year, until it starts over again.

Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is Passover. Where God had liberated them from Egypt. Feast of first Fruits. Celebration of gathering of their fruits and vegetables. Feast of the Harvest. This is the celebration of the grain harvests.

Little History

“The sacrificial animal, which was either a lamb or a kid, was necessarily a male, one year old sacrifice that the killing might take place with the proper intentions. Only those who were circumcised and clean before the Law might participate; and they were forbidden to have unleavened food for in their possession during the act of killing the paschal lamb. The animal was slain on the eve of the Passover, on the afternoon of the 14th of Nissan, after the Timid sacrifice had been killed, i.e., at three o’clock pm, or, in the eve of the Passover fell on a Friday, at two pm. (The priests wanted to make sure there was enough time that the sacrifice could be done by sundown before the Sabbath started). The killing took place in the court of the Temple, and might be performed by layman, although the blood had to be caught by a priest, and rows of priests with gold or silver cups in their hands stood in line from the Temple court to the alter, where the blood was sprinkled. These cups were rounded on the bottom, so that they could not be set down; for in that case the blood might coagulate. The priest who caught the blood as it dropped from the victim, then handed the cup to another priest next to him, receiving from him another empty one, and the full cup was passed along the line intil it reached the last priest, who sprinkled its contents on the alter. The lamb was then hung upon special hooks or sticks and skinned; but if the eve of the Passover fell on a weekly Sabbath, the skin was removed down to the breast only. The abdomen was then cut open, and fatty portions intended for the alter were taken out, placed in a vessel, salted, and offered by the priest on the alter, while the remaining entrails likewise were taken out and cleansed.” (Jewish Encyclopedia article 11934)

If the Passover fell on the weekly Sabbath, the paschal lamb was killed in the manner described above, but one hour earlier. The blood sprinkled on the alter, the entrails removed and cleansed, and the fat offered on the alter; for these four ceremonies in the case of the paschal lamb, and these alone, were exempt from the prohibition against working on the sabbath. This regulation, that the Sabbath yielded the precedence to the Passover, was not definitely determined until the time of Hillel, who established it as a law and was in return elevated to the dignity of nasi by Bene Bathyra. (Pes. 68a). Notice, that Passover was more important than the weekly sabbath.
“There were three groups of laity. When it came to their turn the three groups would station themselves in the following passions in the Temple. The First group would position them selves on the mount of the Temple. The second group would station themselves between the Temple wall and the Temple hall. The third group would station themselves in the Temple court. There were two things that went on during this time. 1. While Passover lamb was being killed and prepared for them. 2. The Hallel would be read. The Hallel is the reading by the Levites from Psalms 113 to 118. This is the Jewish prayer of praise. Instruments of brass would also be playing during this time. By the reading of Psalm 113-118, this would be enough time for the Priest to kill the Passover Lamb and prepare for the people to take home and cook it the way they wish. Also during this time instruments of brass were played.”

The book of Malachi is to show you how far the priest hood had removed themselves from their God.

One of the best dates for Malachi is from 432 to 425 B.C. Malachi ended the line of prophets chosen by God to give His words to the priests and Levites. During this book, God stopped talking to the priesthood because they no longer followed God’s commandments and sacrifices. With this God opened a dialogue with the priests and Levites. God started with this, “a son honors his father, and a slave respects his master.” To you O priests, “Where is My honor, where is my respect.” “O priests who despise my name.” What the priests and Levites were doing they had been offering sacrifices that had been taken by robbery, they had offered lame and sick sacrifices on the alter. People had made a vow to give an unblemished male from the flock without defect. But instead they would give the lame and sick animals for the sacrifice. They would kept the best for themselves. God asks them, would your governor accept them? How would he look upon your sacrifices? Again God Said, you say, “My, how tiresome it is and you disdainfully sniff at it.” You have wearied Him with your words. 2:17 You are robbing me with your tithes and offerings. 3:7 God said, “You are cursed for robbing me.” 3:9 If you do not bring in the tithes and offerings into My house, “I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” 3:10 “Your words are arrogant against Me,” says the Lord, yet you say, “It is vain to serve God, and what profit is it that we have kept his charge.” Response from the Lord God. For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hidden His face from him; but when he cried to Him for help, He heard. “For behold the day is coming, burning like a furnace, and all the arrogant and every evil doer will be chaff; and the day that is coming, says the Lord of Hosts, “so that it will not leave them neither root or branch.” “But for you who fear My name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you shall go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:1

The printing press did not come into use until around 1500 AD. If Malachi was in the 430’s B.C., you have 1900 years. It was the job of the priest to give the word of God to the people. Instead of the priests being the mediator to God, God made the prophets the mediator between God and man.

MESSIAHThese are the Old Testament descriptors of the coming Messiah, Jesus. God wanted them to recognize Him when He came.

Dueteronomy 18:15 The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from their countryman, you shall listen to Him.
1. Then he said, Listen now, O house of David! Is it to slight a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you try the patience of God as well? “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: a virgin will be with child and bar a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”   2. Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dump will shout for joy. For the waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabath.   3. I gave My back to those who strike Me, and My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting.   4. Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up, and greatly exalted. Just as many were astonished at you, My people, so His appearance was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men. Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut there mouths on account of Him; for what had not been told them they will see, and what they had not heard they will understand.   5. Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of parched ground; He had no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and for saken of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and like one from whom men hide their face. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, all of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.   6. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for this generation, who considered that He was cut off of the land of the living, for the transgression of the people to whom the stroke was due? His grave was assigned with wicked men, yet He was with a rich man in His death, because He had done no violence, nor was there any deceit in His mouth. But the Lord was pleased, to crush Him putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His off spring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.   7. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the afflicted, He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn.   8. But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, to little to be among the clans of Judah, from you one will go forth for me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity. Therefore, He will give up until the time when she who is in labor has born a child. Then the remainder of His brethren will return to the sons of Israel. And He will arise and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will remain, because at that time He will be great to the ends of the earth.    9. My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me? Far from My deliverance are the words of My groaning.   10. Psalm 22:6-8 But I am a worm, and not a man,a reproach of men, and despised by the people. All those who see me sneer at me; they separate with the lip, they wag the head, saying, commit yourself to the Lord; let Him deliver Him, let Him rescue Him, because He delights in Him.   11. Psalm 22:9-10 Yet thou art He who didst bring me forth from the womb; thou didst make me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. Upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been my God from my mother’s womb.   12. Psalm 22:11-15 Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help. Many bulls have surrounded me; strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. They open their mouth at me, as a ravening lion. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax; it is melted within me. My strength is dried up like potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and thou dost lay me in the dust of death.   13. Psalm 22:16-18 For dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil doers has encompassed me; they have pierced my hands and feet. I can count all my bones, they look, they stare at me; they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.   14. Psalm 34:19-20 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; and none of them is broken.   15. Psalm 110:4 Teh Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, Thou art a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.   16. Zechariah 9:9-10 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold your King is coming to you; He is just endowed with salvation , humble, mounted on a donkey, even a colt, the foal of a donkey. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow of war will be cut off. And He will speak peace to the nations; and His dominion will be from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.   17. Zechariah 11:12-13 And I said to them, “if it is good in your sight, give Me my wages; but if not, never mind! So they weighed out thirty schekels of silver as my wages. Then the Lord said to me, throw it to the potter, that magnificent price at which I was valued by them”. So I took the thirty shekels of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the Lord.   18. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour out on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for the only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over the first a first born.

Jesus our Passover Lamb and Trial

1. Matt 26:47-48 After being taken into custody by the help of Judas and a great multitude from the chief Priests and elders of the people. Now he who was betraying Him gave them a sign, saying, “whom ever I kiss He is the one, seize Him.” 2. Luke 22:63-65 And when the men holding Jesus in custody were mocking Him, and beating Him. and they blind folded Him and were asking Him, saying, “prophesy, who is the one who hit you.” 3. John 18:13-14 Then they led Him to Annas first, the father of Caiaphas who was high priest that year. Now Caiaphas was the one who had advised the Jews that it was expedient for one man to die on behalf of the people. 4. Matthew 26:59-67 Now the chief priests and the whole Council kept trying to obtain false testimony against Jesus, in order that they might put Him to death; and they did not find any, even though many false witnesses came forward. One witness said, this man stated, “I am able to destroy the temple of God and to rebuild it in three days.” And the high priest stood up and said to Him, Do you make no answer? What is it that these men are testifying against you? But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, “I adjure You by the living God, that You tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus said to him, “you have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you shall see the” SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, AND COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.” Then the high priest tore his robes, saying “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; what do you think? They answered and said, “He is deserving of death!” Then he spat in His face and beat Him with their fists, and others slapped HIm, and said, “Prophesy to us you Christ; who is the one who hit you?” 5. Matt 27:11-14 After this they took Him to Pilate. Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him, “It is as you say”. And while He was being accused by the chief priests and the elders, He made no answer. Then Pilate said to Him, Do you not hear how many things they testify against You? And He did not answer him with regard to even a single charge, so that the governor was quite amazed. 6. John 19:4-6 And Pilate came out again , and said to them, Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no guilt in Him. Jesus therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, Behold the man! When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw HIm, they cried out, saying, “Crucify, crucify!” Pilate said to them, Take Him yourselves, and crucily Him, for I find no guilt in Him. 7. John 19:1-3 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scouged Him, and the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and put it on His head; and arrayed Him in a purple robe; and they began to come up to Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And gave Him blows to the face. (It was a custom of the Romans, that when one is scourged it meant that there would be about 39 lashes from some kind of whip, or Flail, leather, a rope with strands that were knotted on the ends, causing much damage to the back of the one being whipped, with much blood lose and be in a very weakened condition.) 8. Jn 19:33-34 That is the reason they found a man from Cyrene named Simon, whom they pressed into service to bear Jesus’s cross. 9. Mark 15:19-24 But coming to Jesus, when they saw that is was already dead, they did not break His legs; but one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear. and out came water and blood. 10. 20:27 The last thing they did was to nail His palms of His hands and feet to the cross member and His feet to the foot pad. This was the Roman custom of they afixed the condemned person to the cross. Though the scripture does not tell us that He was nailed to the cross, Jesus Himself said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.”

Isaiah 52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, My people, so His appearance was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men.

How do we know that Jesus is in the line of David. This is the Jewish linage of Jesus and traces Jesus back through David to God Himself.

This is the genealogy of Mary, mother of Jesus. Joseph, Eli, Mattal, Levi, Melchi, Jannai, Joseph, Mattathias, Amos, Nahum, Hesli, Naggai, Maath, Mattathias, Senein, Josech, Joda, Joanan, Rhesa, Zerubbabel, Shealtiel, Neri, Meicchi, Addi, Cosen, Elmadam, Er, Joshua, Eliezer, Joram, Matthal, Levi, Simeon, Judah, Joseph, Jonam, Eliakim, Melea,Menne, Mattatha, Nathan, King David, Jesse, Obed, Boaz, Salmon, Hashon, Amminadab, Admin, Ram, Hezron, Perez, Judel, Jacob, Issaac,Abraham, Terah, Nahor, Seriug, Reu, Peleg, Heber, Shelah, Cainan, Arphaxad, Shem, Noah, Lamech, Methuselah, Enoch, Jared, Mahalaleel, Cainan, Enosh, Seth, Adam, God made Adam from the dust of the earth, the first man. See how the bible, through the old Testament the number of scriptures that pointed to Messiah coming. What was talked about in the Old Testament, Messiah, is revealed in the New Testament in the form of a man Jesus Christ, Son of God, the Savior of the world. What a savior. We should thank God that He is all inclusive to all people. To those that believe in His Son will be with Christ in God’s Heavenly Kingdom. Where there will be no need for Sun or Moon, because He, being the light of the world is the light of all those who take Him as their Savior.

Abiding in our Lord Jesus

Reverence:  Psalm 100:1-5    Shout joy full to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord Himself is God; it id He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name, for the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations.

Abiding in our Lord Jesus                      Parts 3                         February 12, 2020

Testify of Me!                                                                                                                                                           1. Come and hear, all who fear God, and I will tell you of what He has done for my soul. 2. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (One has to be peaceful to make peace.) 3. The one who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness that God has borne concerning His Son. 4. And they over came him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death. 5. But the witness which I gave is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent Me. 6. And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead. 7. And from that city many Samaritans believed in the woman who testified, He told me all things that I have done. 8. There was a man that had many demons in him in the land of the Gearasenes. It was so bad that he did noit live in a house and wore no clothing. When he saw Jesus he cried out to Jesus and asked Him for help. But the unclean spirit said to Jesus, “What do I have to do with You Jesus, Son of the Most high God. I beg you, do not torment me” Jesus asked him his name and the demon said it is legion. Jesus had been commanding the unclean spirit to come out of him. The demon had been asking Jesus not to command them to go to the abyss. Instead, Jesus sent them into a herd of swine, that ran down the hill into the lake and died. The people from the surrounding district, ask Jesus to depart from them. The healed man wanted to go with Jesus, but Jesus said, ” Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you. And he went away, proclaiming through the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. 9. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me His prisoner; but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God.” Yes, Jesus wants us to join Him in is suffering, to get people to come to Him.
1. Psalm 66:16, 2. James 3:17,18, 3. 1 John 5:10, 4. Revelation 12:11, 5. John 5:36, 6. Acts 10:42 7. John 5:39, 8. Luke 8:26-40, 9. 2 Timothy 1:8

Most of the disciples were martyred  in some way shape or form.  Stephan was martyred by being stoned out side a synagogue, Peter was hung upside down in Rome, at his request. Matthew had gone to Ethiopia, and some disagreement on his martyrdom. Thomas was martyred while being impaled by a spear. They were martyred because of their testimony for Jesus Christ.
There is an apostle of Jesus Christ, that didn’t start out as an apostle. He was an enemy of the cross of Christ.  his name was Saul of Taursus. He was a Pharisee, his father was also a Pharisee. Saul was well schooled in the Jewish Law and customs. The Pharisees opposed Jesus Christ and the church at every turn, and persecuted people who had made a profession of Faith. They would be either stoned, hanged, beaten and threatened. The main body of Pharisees in Jerusalem made papers for Saul to give to local officials to make what they did legal. They did this as a deterant for new christians accepting Christ. One day Saul was going to Damascus, Syria with such papers, to bring back to Jerusalem new Christians for trial. On the road to Damascus a bright light shown around him, Saul fell off his horse to the ground, and the voice said, Saul, Saul why are you persecuting me. Acts 8 & 9 Then Saul was taken to Damascus and Ananias was told to go get Saul and bring him to his house and pray for him to receive is sight. Ananias also introduced Saul to the Apostles in Damascus at the time and He got up and testified of Jesus. During this time Jesus changed Saul’s name to Paul and told Paul what he must suffer for My names sake. He will appear before the gentiles, before kings and your fellow Israelite’s as a witness for Christ. During Paul’s ministry he said that three times he was beaten with rods, once he was stoned, three times he was beaten with 39 lashes each time, ship wrecked, spent a night and a day in the deep waters, On frequent journeys, he had dangers from rivers, robbers, from my countryman, from the gentiles, from my false brethren. Paul has been in great labor and hardships, many sleepless nights, hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposer.    2 Corinthians 11:23-27
But Christ was with Him every step of the way. Why do you think Jesus chose Paul. He knew the Hebrew ways, culture, scriptures, and then Paul went on to write two thirds of the new testament. Paul testified of Christ without any questions of hardship, but faithful in all things to Christ. The other apostles also suffered in testifying for Christ.

The Spirit of Truth: John 15:26-27, John 3:5-8, John 14:16-17

1. When the helper comes, (The Holy Spirit) God is the Spirit of the world. Since God is Spirit, it is He whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me, 27. and you will bear witness also, because you have been with Me from the beginning. 2. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another helper. that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannoit receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. 3. But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe, therefore also we speak. 4. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth. 5. And to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things; in order that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 6. Jesus answered, Truly, Truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Sprirt, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. Do not marvel that I said to you, you must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Faith and Christ, Ephesians 3:17-20, Philippians 3:8-9,
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 4. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even unto death. 5. But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent me. 6. And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead. 7. You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me.

Christ Jesus

1. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 2. I have been crucified with Christ: and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. 3. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things passed away; behold new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation . Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 4. As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and over flowing with gratitude. 5. If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 6. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 7. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. 8. To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 9. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. 10. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are the same.

God and Christ’s Peace and what it will do for you

1. The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace. 2. The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of the law. ( this is what Jesus does) 3. Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. 4. Mark the blameless man, and behold the the upright; for the man of peace will have posterity. 5. Loving kindness and truth have met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other. 6. When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. 7. He who restrains his words has knowledge , and he has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. 8. For a child be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 9. Or let him rely on My protection, let him make peace with Me, let him make peace with Me. 10.And the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. 11. How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace, and brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, and says to Zion, your God reigns. 12. The righteous man perishes, and no man takes it to heart; and devout men are taken away, while no one understands, for the righteous man is taken away from evil, he enters into peace; they rest in their beds, each one who walked in his upright way. 13. There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked. 14. These are the things which you should do; speak truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates. 15. True instruction was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many back from iniquity. 16. (Jesus Christ came) To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 17. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. 18. For the mind set in the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. 19 Therefore do not let what is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil, for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. v19. So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. 20. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. 21. Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, like minded, in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 22. Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. 23. Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus. 24. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. 25. And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated in the Spirit, beheld by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed in the world, taken up in glory.

These verses will help us to abide in Him. When we do this we will find peace for our lives and learn to be peaceful to other people in our lives, to emulate Christ and not make Him a liar in our lives.

Reverence Psalm 66:1-7
Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, How awesome are thy works! Because of the greatness of thy power, thine enemies will give feigned obedience to thee. All the earth will worship Thee, and will sing praises to Thee; they will sing praises to Thy name. Come and see the works of God, who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men. He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot; there let us rejoice in Him! He rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations; let not the rebellious exalt them selves.

Keep My Commandments

John 15:10-16                                                                                                                               1. 10. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Fathers commandments, and abide in His commandments, and abide in His love. 11. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. 12. This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. 14. You are My friends, if you do what I command you. 15. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that Whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give you. 17. This I command you, that you love one another.
John 15:10-17
In the Bible Knowledge Commentaries, I liked what they stated about verse V10. A believer is motivated by the wonder of Jesus’s love, which is patterned after God’s love. Jesus makes His love as concrete. We all know about concrete, how dense, how hard it gets, and it is very heavy and lasts for a very long time. Over a long period of time concrete does start to crumble. Anything that is made with human hands is sooner or later going to go back to dust. When our bodies go back to dust, it is not the end if you believe in Christ.
Ephesians 3:17-20 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
V11, Jesus says, that “My joy may be found in you,” that your joy be made full.” Jesus wants His people to be happy and joyful, this leads to becoming fruitful and telling other people about Christ. One cannot be joyless, unhappy, and be fruitful at the same time. We His people, need everything Christ wants us to have, if we are going to be His joyful disciples.
V12. We might ask our selves how was Jesus fruitful. Jesus was happy God was His Father. Jesus is fruitful because, He was following His Father’s plan for Himself and the people that would follow. They both had the same message, the Son sent you as the example for everybody to follow. Before you can be an example, you believe the same as the Father and the Son, that redemption of man is the goal of the Father and the Son. Christ was the example, we must be examples like Him, even though we are mere men, Jesus has passed His love, joy, peace and how to be fruitful to us through His word. So we can be like Jesus and proclaim redemption to men so they to can believe.
V13,14 Jesus said to follow the Fathers commands, but I have one command for you. Love one another as I have loved you. No greater love one has for another, than if you lay down your life for a friend. The thought here goes beyond what a person would lay down his life for His friends. Jesus calls us friends, would I be willing to give my life for Jesus in witnessing to others. That is exactly what Jesus did for us, He witnesses to us through His word. From that, He wants us to become examples and witnesses. This also could manifest itself in many different ways. Becoming missionaries, volunteer at shelters, food pantries, street evangelizing, make your own food and hand it out in homeless camp. Regardless of a persons wish to live or not live on the streets, a meal someone took the time to make and give would be a real treat to them. It would also make our savior happy also. When we meet resistance for helping, remember, we have an adversary, satan, who is opposed to Jesus and His work of redemption, he will try to put obstacles in the way, he will try to distract us in any way possible. Do not allow this to happen, keep helping, for it says, “Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we renounce the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god if this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is in the image of God.” Jesus also says, “Submit therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
V15 Jesus says that I no longer I call you a slave, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. Jesus said that I will no longer call your slaves, but friends, for I have made known to you that all the things my father has told me, I have told you. Slaves only do what they are told, A slave is not taught to think. Jesus has given us all the information through Gods word of how we can be a slave to sin. The word slave does not fit with the word relationship with friends. Another word would be dependence upon Christ, because He said, you can do nothing, but everything through me. John 15:5
V16 Then Jesus says, you did not chose Me, but I you, and appointed you, go bear fruit and that your fruit should remain. Whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you. A master would not chose a slave to be a witness to anything. But Christ choosing us and appointing us to bear fruit for Him. What Christ has done for us to show Him our gratitude in reaching out to the unsaved to get them to Christ, and be called friends and Son’s of the most High. Luke 1:32
V17 I chose you and appointed you, that you go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain. That what ever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give you. Christians grow by caring and nurturing one another. Christ wants us to enjoy Him as He has enjoyed the Father. The word joy is like to word joyful or happy. If we are joyful in both the Father and the Son, we are happy. Our frame of mind is uplifting, our destination is different, and our focus has changed from self to Christ. That will be a happy day, and one that you will never forget.
1 John 3:24 And the one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given to us.
Romans 6:15-23
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? May it never be! Do you not know what that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of the flesh, For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things of death. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This is a condition that Christ has placed on us. Christ is our friend, then Christ died for me before I professed Him. Christ wants us to notice the comparison of friends. Jesus called us friends. His life for ours. Christ was a witness for God the Father, We can be witnesses for Jesus Christ. Christs life was a reflection of His Fathers ways. If we have a friend that we die for, he had to be a good friend. This is a hard concept, that Christ gave His life for only those who would believe. Another way to look at this is Christ gave His life for the life of all men, but not all men are going to believe. Christ put a time frame around a man and salvation, that time frame is a mans life. You hear people tell you that the average life of a man is 70 years. But how many people die at birth, how many are killed by accidents, how many die of diseases, my point is that you don’t know how long one has. The proper time for man is when you hear Gods word, Jesus says, this is the day of salvation. You may not get another chance. 2 Corinthians 6:2 And if a man rejects salvation from Jesus Christ, man cannot blame God for his decision not accept Christ as savior.

The world hates Christ and Christians. John 15:18-25, John 16:33, John 10:27-30
18. If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20. Remember the word that I said to you, a slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21. But all these things they will do to you for My names sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. 22. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23. He who hates Me hates the Father as well. 24. If I had done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. 25. But they have done this in order that the word may be filled that is written in the law, “They hated Me without a cause.” Psalm 69:4

Do not expect the people in this world to love you because you are a christian. A-Lot of people in this day and age think that Christians are judgmental, and the people of this world do not want any kind of judgment, not even from God. Christians should judge no one, because we have the same judge in actions and deeds. Christians do not go under judgment because we have believed in Jesus Christ as savior. No one knows when Christ will visit an unbeliever, through you. there is only one judge, our Lord Jesus Christ. He knows the hearts of all men, believers and unbelievers. Let Jesus be the judge, our judgment has no weight. In Hebrews 9:27 it says, death and then the judgment. When a man dies he is judged, according to what he believes. That does not minimize the Great White throne judgment or the Lambs Book of life. What judgment does not deal with is the rewards people have, believers and unbelievers. Unbelievers have different degrees of pain and suffering depending upon what they have done good or bad. You can either help some body in pain and suffering by not having a pretense of judgment in your tone of voice or mannerism.
John 7:7 The World cannot hate you; but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.

Abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ

Abiding in the Lord Jesus      Part 1

Reverence to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 12:28-29
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God and acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.

Abiding              Part 1 John 15:1-9

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him, and will dine with him and he with Me.

Jesus is knocking at the door of our mind and heart. Jesus Christ, the same Jesus that was present at the creation of the Heavens and the earth. Genesis 1. The first thing we have to do is realize we do not have all the answers of life and our short comings and answer the door. He wants to wake us up from our slumber, to think of this life with Him as something more than just getting along in this life. Jesus wants us to come alive in Him.  Life goes beyond our own life, that is what Christ wants us to look for, that we live not only for ourselves, but for others who need Christ. Sometimes it is a helping hand, other times it is a prayer for somebody, or a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ, as Christ put it, be ready in season and out of season.  2 Timothy 4:2  We do not want to walk through life with no meaning. Jesus wants us to believe that because of the giving of His life, and blood, and going to the cross, and hanging on it, that He gave His life for my sin, so Christ is the mediator between God and man.  Christ takes our defense when satan goes to God and slanders us.  Sometimes Christ wants us to help others in their struggles of life, a kind word, a little sympathy, that is what Jesus has done for us. Jesus has wrapped all this into believing in Jesus Christ.  Let us do this for one another in our lives.
What are some of the phrases Jesus uses in John 15 that describes what Christ wants to happen in our lives because of His word,

1. Abide in Me. and I in you.  They will bear much fruit if they abide in Me. John. 15:4-9 2. Keep My commandments. John 15:10-16 Do not think I came to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law.  Abide in My love. Matthew 15:10-16  3. love one another John 15:17 just as I loved you, no greater love than this to lay down your life for a friend.  Jesus said, “you are My friends.” John 15:10  4. World hates Me and you also.  Remember the world hated Me first before it hated you.  John 15:18 5.  The Spirit of Truth come.  The Holy Spirit will come from the Father in the form of the Spirit of truth.  John 15:26  6. Testify of Me.  Those who bear witness of Jesus. John 5:39

What is abiding
Are there threads or layers to the word abiding, that connects the spiritual, non- spiritual, all that man is in Christ, as the seamless interaction between the believer and Christ, Once abiding takes place, Christ lives in you and you live in Christ to do His will in your life.  Christ said you are clean because my word has spoken to you. John 15:3  To abide you need to believe that Jesus is who He says He is.  Without that, you will never really believe and come to abiding in Christ.  Since their are threads in the word abide, any single thread is easily broken. The threads when woven together make the bond to Christ very strong.  I list five threads in John 15, and one thread in John 5:39, when woven together they will never be broken in a believers life.

My words abide in you John 15:1-9

1.  I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser.  2. Every branch of Mine that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  3. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4.  Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  5. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; apart form Me you can do nothing.  6. If anybody does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  7. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.  8. By that I came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.  Matthew 5:10 9. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.

This is a give and take opportunity from Jesus Christ. To give yourself totally to Jesus Christ to do His will in your life. To let Him guide you through your lifes ups and downs. To pray for direction, pray for your family, pray for the direction Jesus would have you go.  Look for every opportunity to talk to Christ, allow Him access to your thoughts and actions.  Then, you take what He offers.  Christ offers you peace in your life, about the direction of your life, assurance that He will never leave you or forsake you.  Dueteronomy 31:6 You know that in the middle of the storm, Jesus is with you, talking to you, giving advice.  That advice will come in the form of solutions to problems as they arise. After a while you will come to trust Him, because you will know that He is there every minute of every day wanting to talk to you.  The Holly Spirit that He gives you will quicken your spirit to recognize problems and solutions.  Jesus wants you to come to the fact that the Father and the Son are the same.  When you know Him, you know the Father as well.  That is when you know that you are abiding in Christs love for you.  It takes two to abide, Will you make that connection today, to be bonded to and abide in Christ?

1. The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 2. As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 3. And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and it is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. 4. No one who abides in Him who sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 5. No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 6. Anyone who goes to far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. 7. Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine. 32. And you shall know the truth; and the truth shall make you free.

1. 1 John 2:6, 2. 1 John 2:24, 3. 1 John 2:27-28, 4. 1 John 3 :6-9, 5. 1 John 4:12-13,15, 6. 1 John 1:9, 7. John 8:31-32

Benefits of abiding

  1. Every believer that works in and through Christ, is taught Christ is alive in your life to perfect and have it more fruitful in working with Christ.  John 15:2                                                                                                                                          2. By abiding in Christ and reading God’s word it cleanses you. John 15:3                                                                                                                                        3. You cannot bear fruit without having Christs goal, it is, His redeeming message to man kind. John 15:4                                                                                                                                        4. By abiding in Christ and His word, we can ask anything, and it may be done for us. John 15:7                                                                                                                                        5. My Father is glorified, by us bearing much fruit and then proving to be one of Christs disciples. John 15:8                                                                                                                                        6. By me keeping God’s commands, you will abide in Christ’s love. John 15:10                                                                                                                                      7. The things Christ has spoken to you, Christ hopes His joy is in you, and His joy has made you full. John 15:11                                                                                                        8. Love one another, just as I have loved you. John 15:12                                                                                                                                      9. We are friends if we obey Christ. John 15:14                                                                                                                                    10. A slave does not know what his master does, because Jesus tells us what God has told him, we are not slaves, but friends. John 15:15                                                                                                                                     11. Because Christ chose us, we should do Christ’s work, and in this by our prayer, what we ask it may be given to us. John 15:16                                                                                                                                    12. Because Christ is in us, we as believers, have the Spirit of Truth in us, which is the Holy Spirit.   John 15:16                                                                                                                                     13. We know that satan is our enemy, because the world hated Christ first, then us. John 15:19                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Abiding Part 2 on January 27th.

Our Corner Stone Jesus Christ.

Corner Stone                                                                                                    December  2, 2019

Psalm 91:1-4
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust! For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinons, and under his wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.

For God says, “Order on order, order on order,Line on line, line on line, a little here, a little there.” Isaiah 28:10

With God there is order and purpose to everything He does. God does not skip around, He builds one layer upon another in His time frame. The foundation is always waiting to have another layer added to it, because of the new believers coming into faith, by the ones He has chosen to add to it. Nobody can delay what God has purposed in His heart. (Isaiah 14:24, 14:27) Since He made man, man cannot over ride Him. God leaves nothing to chance. Jesus Christ became the last layer, the rock of offense, the chief corner stone. It is Jesus Christ that will lead all people who have made that profession of faith that will get into His heavenly Kingdom.

The Lord begins to form another society before the flood comes, to set eight people in place to go through the flood so there will be a new start for the world when the flood is gone. God, hand picked Noah to build the Ark and to save the animals and his family, and bring them to the other side of the flood. Why did God pick Noah? Noah believed God. Noah and his sons came through the flood, Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their wives, seven in all.
Ten generations later, Abram comes from the line of Shem. Shem, was the father of Arpachshad, Arpachshad was the father of Shelah, Shelah was the father of Eber, Eber was the father of Peleg, Peleg was the father of Reu, Reu was father of Serug, Serug was the father of Nahor, Nahor was the father of Terah, Terah was the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran, Haran was the father of Lot, who died. Genesis 11:10-28

“God Said to Abram, Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your fathers house, to the land which I shall show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3

The God of Abram, the God of Issac and the God of Jacob, set the place His people would be given for them to live in and grow in. The foundation of Israel came through these three men. They had the promise of God, He would be their guide, their protector through the Angel of the Lord. God would give them everything they needed to endure and prosper.
Abraham was 75 years old when they set out as the Lord had instructed him, Abram took his wife Sarai, and Lot his nephew, and all the possessions that they had accumulated, including the people they had acquired in Haran. They set out for the land of Canaan. When they got to the land of Canaan, they went to Shecham, to the oak of Moreh. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “to your descendants I will give this land.” So Abram built an alter there. Then they went on to the mountain east of Bethel. There he built another altar to the Lord, and called upon the name of the LORD. Abram went on to the Negev, and there was a famine going on in the land, so he went down to Egypt. After getting into trouble with Pharaoh, over his wife, Pharaoh had blessed Abram with sheep, oxen, male and female donkeys, and camels, along with male and female servants. Because of this trouble, Pharaoh had his servants escort Abram, Sarai, and Lot out of Egypt. He came out of Egypt a very rich person in form of live stock and servants. Abram and Lot went into the Negev again. When their herds became to large they separated. After Lot and Abram had separated, God asked Abram to look north, east, south and west. Then God said, all that you see, “I will give to you and your descendants forever.” Arise and walk through the land, its length and breadth; for I will give it to you. Then Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oak at Mamre, which is Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord. Genesis 13:14-18 Abraham is the first layer of the foundation of faith from God.

After some time and skirmishes with the people of the land, God said to Abram in a vision. “Do not fear Abram, I am a shield to you; your reward shall be very great.” And Abram ask, O Lord God, what wilt thow give me. since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus. Then the Lord said to Abram, this man will not be your heir; but one shall come from your own body, he shall be your heir. And God took him outside the tent, and God had Abram look to the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them. “So shall your descendants be.” Another foundational step, of God by showing Abram how many people will come to God. Then he believed in the Lord, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.” Then God said, “I am the Lord that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldens, to give you this land to posses it.” The God said that He has given the land from the river in Egypt, to the great river Euphrates. God said to Abram, your descendants will be enslaved in a strange land that is not theirs. They will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years. Then in the seventh generation they shall return here. Genesis 15:1-8

Abram had been told all this, and he had no children. Sarai his wife gave him into the hand of an Egyptian maid, and they had a son and named him Ishmael. This to God was not the son that was promised. Genesis 16 Now God appeared to Abram, “I am God the God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you.” And I will multiply you exceedingly. And Abram fell on his face, and God talked to him, saying. “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. No longer shall you be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; you shall be a father of a multitude of nations” One condition of the Abrahamic covenant was every male is to be circumcised on the 8th day after their birth. So, Abraham and Ishmael were circumcised. Genesis 17:1-6

From here God gave to Abraham the Abrahamic covenant. God changed Abraham’s wives name from Sarai, to Sarah. Abraham was 99 years old when He was circumcised. Genesis 17:10-17
After a long time, the Lord said He took note of her, (Sarah) and did for her as He had promised,. And gave them a son and called him Isaac. Genesis 21 Isaac was circumcised the 8th day. There grew tension in Abraham’s house between Sarah, Hagar and Ismael. Sarah did not want Ishmael living in the house of the heir, Isaac. God told Abraham to listen to his wife and send them away. God will bless him. Here you have another foundational mark by having Isaac being made the heir.. Genesis 22. And after many years Abraham made a servant swear that Isaac would not be married to a daughter of the land of Caanan. Genesis 24. So Abraham sent his servant to his brother Nahor in Mesopotamia to get a wife for Isaac. Rebekah was her name. The servants of Abraham said to Rebekah on the way home, “May you, our sister, become thousands of ten thousands, and my your descendants possess the gate of those who hate them.”

Isaac was 40 years old when he took Rebekah as his wife. When Rebekah was pregnant, it felt like a war was going on inside of her, and she inquired of the Lord. And God said to her. “Two nations are in your womb; and two peoples shall be separated from your body; and one people shall be stronger than the other; and the older will serve the younger.” The first came forth red, all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau. And afterward his brother came forth with his hand holding on to Esau’s heel. His name became Jacob. Esau was a hunter, an out doors man. Jacob was a peaceful man living in tents. One day Esau came into Jacob’s tent and asked if he could have some of Jacobs stew. Jacob said yes, but you have to give me your birth right. Genesis 27. Easu agreed, because he was hungry. Because of this, when it came time for Isaac, their father to die. Just before death, the father would always bring the oldest first and bless him because he is heir. But his mother heard of this, and Esau was a hairy person, and she dressed Jacob with goats skin on his arms and neck, put on one of Esau’s shirts on him, and sent him into get the blessing of the first born. Issac was blind in his old age, he said you have the voice of Jacob but the smell and feel of Esau. So Isaac blessed Jacob as the first born. When Esau came in, he went into his father for the blessing and he couldn’t get it because it had been given to Jacob. Esau said I will kill my brother, Rebekah heard this and sent Jacob away to her family in Haran to her brother Laban. Genesis 29. Jacob spent a month working for Labon, Rebekah’s father, Labon said what shall I give you for your labor? Now Jacob loved Rachel his daughter, and said I will work for you seven years, then you will give me Rachel. The end of seven years came and the wedding day came and Labon switched daughters on Jacob, because it was this countries custom to marry the oldest off first. Jacob went into her, and the next morning he saw that it was Leah. Jacob was angry, but agreed to work for Labon another seven years for Rachel, whom he loved. Genesis 25 Issac is the second layer of the foundation.

During the following years Jacob and Leah had Ruben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah. Then Rachel was barren and gave her maid Bilhah to Jacob and they had two sons by her, Dan and Naphtali. Then Leah saw she had stopped bearing and gave her maid Zilpah to Jacob and she bore him two sons, Gad and Asher. Then Leah’s womb was opened and Jacob became the father of two more sons Issachar and Zebulon. Then Leah bore a daughter to Jacob and her name was Dinah. God remembered Rachel and she conceived a son and they named him Joseph. These eleven were born in the land of Laban, the Aramean. Jacob was leaving his father-in-law because he was cutting his wages and cheating him out of sheep and goats. Jacob told his wives that they were going back to the land of his birth. They left without telling Laban. Laban caught up to them, but God had told Laban in a dream not to speak good or bad to Jacob. As they were entering into the land, Rachel was about to give berth, and she had much trouble, but gave birth to Benjamin before Rachel died. Rachel was buried near Bethlehem. Jacob had thirteen children, 12 boys, and one daughter.
It was when Jacob was at Bethel, where God had talked to him on the way to Laban in Aram. After Jacob had divided his flocks before he was to meet his brother Esau, when Jacob was alone, and a man wrestled with him all night. Toward daylight, when the man saw he was not winning, he touched the socket of Jacob and he limped. Jacob would not let go, and the man said, let me go, but Jacob said, I will not let you go until you bless me. The man said what is your name? and he said Jacob, then you are not Jacob any longer, but it is Israel. Jacob asked his name, and the man said, why do you want my name? And the man blessed Jacob there. And Jacob named that place Peniel, Jacob said, “I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved.” Jacob is the third layer of the foundation.

Jacob, and his 11 sons, and Dinah, Jacobs daughter, the 11 son’s and wives and children went into Egypt during the famine in Caanan. Joseph was already in Egypt, because some of his brothers did not like him. He was telling them that they would be bowing down to Him. They wanted to kill him, but instead they sold Joseph to a caravan of Ishmaelites going to Egypt. (Genesis 37:25) Potifer of Egypt, bought Joseph from the Ishmaelites, and Joseph found favor in his way by God prospering the house of Potifer. After a while, Joseph was put in charge of all of Potifers belongings, and took care of everything. Genesis 39:4) The Bible says the only one not under Joseph was Mrs. Potifer. She kept trying to seduce Joseph, but he kept declining. One day while in the house, Mrs. Potifer tried to catch Joseph in her bedroom, Joseph escaped her grasp and left, but She had Josephs coat that came off when she tried to grab him. Joseph left the house and Mrs. Potifer screamed and the people came into the house and she blamed Joseph for trying to seduce her. (Genesis 39:14) Mr. Potifer came home and she told him. Joseph kept his life, but went to the prison. (Genesis 39:20) Soon after Joseph was in jail, the chief jailer put Joseph in charge of the inmates. One day Pharaoh put his cup bearer and baker, in confinement, and the captain of the body guard put Joseph in charge of them. Soon after, both had a dream the same night. (Genesis 40:5) When Joseph came in the next morning, he asked them why their faces were so sad today? (Genesis 40:7) Then the cup bearer told Joseph his dream. At the end, Joseph interpreted his dream. The cup bearer would be restored to his former position. Joseph said, remember me to Pharaoh when you are in Pharaohs presence. (Genesis 40:14) Joseph said to the baker, tell me your dream. After hearing the dream, Joseph said to the baker, Pharaoh will lift you head from you in three days. (Genesis 40:8-23) After two years the cup bearer heard about Pharaohs dream and told Pharaoh about a man in the prison that had interpreted his dream. The cup bear said his dream came true. Pharaoh had Joseph brought from the jail, Pharaoh told Joseph his dream, Because of God being the reveille of dreams, Joseph was able to tell Pharaoh his dream. Because Joseph interpreted Pharaohs dream, that there would be 7 years of abundance, then 7 years of famine. Pharaoh appointed Joseph because he interpreted the dream and that God gave him the answer. Pharaoh said since your God gave you the answer to my dream, since you are discerning and wise as you are, you shall be over my house , according to your command all my people will do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you. I have set you over all Egypt. Then Pharaoh put his signet ring on Joseph and dressed Him in fine clothing. The Pharaoh named Joseph Zaphenath-paneth; and gave Joseph Asenath, the daughter of Potifera priest of On, as his wife. Then Joseph went forth over the land of Egypt. (Genesis 41:25-46) Joseph and Asenath had two boys, and Joseph named the first Manasseh and the second Ephraim. Joseph said God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction. (Genesis 41:51-52) Then the people of all the earth came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph, because the famine was severe in all the earth. Genesis 41:57
In the land of Caanan where Josephs father and brothers lived, Jacob told his older sons to go down to Egypt to buy food for them. They went, and appeared before Joseph, but they did not recognize him. Joseph asked them all kinds of questions about their father, brothers, Joseph was especially interested in Benjamin. Benjamin was his brother, their mother was Rachel. After he gave them food to take home, they found the money in their sacks, then they were brought back to face Joseph, where he talked about the family more, and said to them, you are spies, Joseph took Simieon to keep in jail until they returned with Benjamin. ( Genesis 42:8-16) You must bring the youngest down here so I can know they are telling him truth. And they left for Caanan. When they ran out of grain, Jacob finally gave his consent for his sons to take Benjamin down to Egypt. Here, Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, they were shocked and concerned about retribution. He told his brothers what they meant for evil, God meant it for good. Then they all went in a caravan to get their father Jacob to come and live in Egypt. Genesis 42 and 43. Another phrase God used of Joseph was, God was with Joseph. Added note. In the New Testament Manasseh and Ephraim are listed in the 12 tribes of Israel. Just before Jacobs death the twelve sons appeared before Jacob to get their fathers view of them. (Genesis 49)

Abraham, Issac, and Jacob are the foundation of the people of faith, because they believed in God. Jacob went into Egypt with 70 members of his family. Why did God have them go to Egypt? One of the first things to happen when Abram got into the land of the Hivittes, Dinah had forced relations with the son of the king. Then the king of the Hivittes asked Abram to give Dinah to his son, the leader said the land is big enough for both of us, we will give our daughters to your sons, and you give your sons to our daughters. Even though the sons of Jacob eventually killed the bulk of the Hivites because of what they did to their sister Dinah. When the people came back into the land under Joshua, that is one of the things they did, intermarry with the people of the land. In Egypt, under Joseph they were put into the land of Goshen. They did not intermarry with the Egyptians. God called them Hebrews. They had the blood of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. They were undefilled by other peoples. Jesus says do not be unequally yoked. Which means, do not marry unbelievers, if you are a believer. If you do marry an unbeliever, your partner will not share the same values, they will look to themselves, they will lack the understanding of why you even have Christ as your savior.
In looking at the men that God chose to come close to Him, none of them were perfect. They had flaws, but God worked through those flaws to get His will done and these men to understand that they are working with the creator of the universe. Being the creator, God still uses imperfect men that have turned to Him and believe in Him to accomplish His will. God brings them along one step at a time. He starts with a bit of the information, the next time He expands on the information and details, until the man knows all the information and goes on from there. When He gives us insight and information, a lot of the time we do not understand, it is the walking with Him and doing His Will that will lead us to the ultimate destination. That is,His plan for our life and a plan to help Him to get more people into His kingdom.

In the Old Testament, God had raised up prophets to warn the people of Israel and the leaders of the synagogues that they were going astray from God by their unblief and actions against the ten commandments, Not keeping the commands is a sin against God because they were persuing other gods. These other gods were, molech, where the parents made their children to pass through the fire to appease it. Other gods you burned incense to, or worshiped mantel idols of wood and stone. Also the people had not kept the seven year sabbath for generations. What God said, you were supposed to do this, let the land lay fallow for one year, and on the 49th year sabbath, any Israelite who was a slave serving another Israelite, they had to release them, and return the inheritance that God had given them, give it back to them. This they had never done. Therefore God started sending them into captivity when the Assyrians captured the Northern Kingdom and took them to Assyria in 722 BC. The defeat of Judah was lead by the Babylonians, in 582 BC. Then the 3rd came in Jerusalem again and the Babylonians took the rest of the Jews left in Jerusalem to Babylon in 581 BC. The first temple was destroyed, and they were allowed to start returning under the reign of Darius, of the Meade and Persian Empire. Sin and rebellion against God does have a penalty. They were warned for a thousand years, but they did not believe God would ever put them into captivity, because the Priest said that God would not send Israel into captivity because they were His chosen people.
Since Christ came, one must by faith take Christ as savior. Why does this happen most of the time? A person, because of doing a lot of things wrong, has made a mess of his or her life. They turn to Jesus in hope to change their lives. It is at this point that people start to read, learn and listen, because they want to change. Jesus Christ becomes your foundation. The more you learn and read about Christ, the firmer your foundation is, you will learn His voice. Jesus will calm the storm you have created in your life that no matter how bad the storm you created, your new foundation is firm so you may stand in any personal problems that you created. By your faith you know that you are ancored to the foundation of the world. Jesus Christ, He is our personal foundation, He will never leave us, or tell us to find someone stronger than He, there is none stronger, more compassionate, loving, and merciful than He. He will never tell us He is too busy for our prayers and cry’s for help. Before He laid the foundations of the planet, and all that would be on it, He fore new every person that would be born, from Cain to the end of man kind upon the face of this earth. Each person has a name, God knows what this person will believe, and there direction of life. Each life has been ordained by God for His glory. And yet, for those people who murder, steal, and create trouble for other people, it will be turned back upon their own head and life. Only God knows how this person will turn out. The longer you walk with Christ, you will learn that He can give peace, mercy and life. He calms the storm and gives you purpose for your life. Be patient, it may take a little time for this to happen. If it took you ten or years to get to this point, it may take the same amount of time to work through all the problems. Let Him do His work in you, do what you can do, but leave the working of the problems out to Your Lord and Savior.

For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11-12

What Has Christ done for us. Christ is the final Layer of the foundation.
With Christ you do not have to worry about the giving of the 5 Sacrificial offerings were the Burnt Offering, Grain Offering, Peace Offering, Sin offering and the Guilt offering, for different sins. Each class of people had their own sin offering. The classes were, sins of the high priest, sins for leaders, sin for the common person, unintentional sin. The trespass offering was the only offering that involved money. If the sin was unintentional, the person had to pay the entire loss, plus 1/5th of that money was given to the priests. Depending on your means were in buying animals, and what you have to sacrifice. These are in the Old Testaments. You did have to go to Jerusalem for the 3 main feast days. You do go to a Priest to sacrifice your animal upon the alter. This animal has to be clean, no defect, to be given God alone, and a place divinely chosen by God.

Because Christ was willing to hang on the cross, to have been 50 lashes on His back, a crown of thorns placed on His head, hit by Roman guards and bleed for our sins, nails driven into His hands and feet, to be pierced by a Speer. By His unselfish will to be the sin bearer for all sin, for all time. All we have to do is ask Jesus into our hearts as savior, for forgiveness for the sin we have committed. Christ is the our mediator. Have you thanked Christ for this? If we believe in Christ, He is our mediator. That is, Christ says to God that person belongs to me, then the God accepts Christs testimony of you. Christ is the go between God and man. You cannot go to God alone, without Christ. IF you do not believe in Jesus, you have no pathway to God.

1. Can you lead forth a constellation in its season, and guide a Bear with her satellites? 2. He guides the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way. 3. For thou art my rock and my fortress; for Thy name’s sake thou wilt lead me and guide me. 4. I will guide you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

1. Others have been with those who rebel against the light; they do not want to know its ways, or abide in its paths. 2. Behold, a king will reign righteously, and princes will rule justly. 3. And each will be like a refuge from the wind, and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. 3. Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who build his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. 4. And I also say to you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it. 5. And all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ. Peter is not the rock, but upon Christ the Rock, Peter is dead, Peter helped start the faith in Christ movement, Christ is alive and is able to take care of any need we have.

1. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. 2. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. 3. Surely the stone will cry out from the wall, and the rafter will answer it from the frame work. 4. And they will not take from you even a stone for the corner, or a stone for foundations, but you will be desolate forever, declares the Lord. 5. Surely the stone will cry out from the wall, and the rafter will answer it from the frame work. Woe to hom who builds a city with bloodshed and founds a town with violence. 6. And I shall give them one heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. 7. And they made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts. 8. Pharisees and Sadducees coming from baptism, Jesus said, “and do not suppose that you can say to yourselves, we have Abraham for our father; for I say to you, that God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham. 9. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire; and the fire; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 9. And coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 10. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it. 11. Then He shall become a sanctuary; but both the houses of Israel , a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, and a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem 12. Jesus said to them, Did you ever read in the scriptures, “The stone which the builders rejected , this became the CHIEF CORNER STONE; this came about from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes,” Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and be given to a nation producing the fruit of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken in pieces, but on whomever it falls, it will shatter him like dust. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust. 13. For the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

Corner Stone

1. What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of Grace, grace to it! 2. He is the Stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the very Corner Stone. 3. Therefore thus says the Lord God, behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed. What does the stone do? I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the level; Then hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the secret place. 4. For this is contained in scripture: Behold I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE. And he who believes in Him shall not be disappointed. 7. This precious value, then, is for you who believe. But not for those who disbelieve, THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE VERY CORNER STONE, and A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.

Who are the builders in Acts 4:11 They are the Priest, Elders, and Levites, the lawyers, and other leaders of Israel. They were supposed to keep and teach the the laws, the ordinances, the sacrifices, and what they meant, they were supposed to have the Pass Over every year. There came a point that the sacrifices became a bloody drudgery to them, the Passover they didn’t care about. The further they got away from the Exodus, the less use the people had to do with God. The Priests. Levits and the Elders had been building their own rules for the people, they were gaining in power over the people, and eventually they made rules of who could or could not attend service in the temple. When King David became King, it said they had Pass Over that year and as long David was king, It was the first Pass Over in 400 years. Priests and Levitts decided, not God. In time of Christ, they are called Pharisees, Sadducees, lawyers or legal over seers. There were priests that looked over the temple, the high priest, were the only ones that could go into the Holy of Hollies where the Ark of the covenant was. In the church age day they are pastors, elders, bible teachers, theologians, evangelists, missionaries. There are many faithful to the cause of Christ. Then there are others who preach christ, but do not believe what He claims.

5But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lover of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to the form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 (That is Jesus Christ)
Jesus Christ is greater than the prophets

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And His radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high; Hebrews 1:1-3

Jesus Christs deity is above all others, New and Old Testaments.

Having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. For to which of the angels did He ever say, “Thou art My Son, today I have begotten thee.”? And again, “I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to me.”? And when He brings the first born into the world, He says, “Let all the Angels of God worship Him.” And of the Angels He says, “who makes His Angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire.” But the Son says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His Kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore, God, thy God, hath anointed Thee with all the gladness above thy companions.” And, “Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.” Hebrews 1:4-10
